Plyconic is an East London-based artist, creating architectural reliefs that celebrate the beauty of wood.
Their work deconstructs iconic architecture—often inspired by mid-century photography—into simplified forms.
Using intricately cut plywood layers, which are stacked and glued to create deep, textural structures. A finish of subtle colour wash allows the natural grain to emerge, its soothing, organic patterns providing a perfect
counterpoint to the engineered precision of the architectural form.
