Lauraine is passionate about colour and texture and my work is a reflection of this. She believes colour and texture resonates with everyone, evoking various emotions and responses. Her paintings are crafted on canvases that follow a cohesive colour story, capturing mood, light, depth and texture. She primarily incorporates impasto techniques with oil, acrylic, and mixed media to build rich textured surfaces. Her paintings are immediate, mood enhancing and vibrant.
